 Solar Water Heaters

Evacuated Tube Collectors
Evacuated tube collectors are the highest efficiency solar thermal collectors. Although evacuated tube collectors are more efficient than
conventional flat plate collectors, they cost approximately twice as much per square foot. Barcode Energy offers highest quality evacuated tube collectors, which are able to generate heat through the coldest of winters, even under overcast conditions, thanks to superior insulation. They consist of two layers of extremely durable borosilicate glass which maintain a vacuum in between that acts as a superb insulator.

Flat Plate Collectors


Flat plate collectors are the most common solar thermal collectors. They are most appropriate for low temperature applications, such as domestic hot water heating. Barcode Energy flat plate  series water heaters maximizes solar heat gain, minimizes heat losses, and provides for the most efficient heat transfer from absorber plate to tube.


Flat Plate Solar Collectors are a glazed collectors which feature a coating which maximizes heat absorption, aluminum framing which can withstand heavy weight and is weather resistant, and interior fiberglass insulation which allows for greater efficiency. Working principle:
The collector absorbs solar energy and transmits it to the water tank through circulation. When the temperature of the collector reaches the set value, the controller starts the circulation pump automatically. The circulation pump makes heat-conducting liquid circulate automatically.
Then the heat-conducting liquid transfers heat to water by heat exchanger in the tank to heat the water.

 

Thermosyphon Systems


Thermosyphon Solar Hot Water Systems are amongst the most affordable and simple to install of all Solar Hot Water Systems. Natural Flow Powered by Gravity in a thermosiphon system.
